Cyberinfrastructure Orchestration

Our network science research and education activities build on the capabilities of the cyberinfrastructure orchestration software system, VTS (Virtual Topology Services). VTS system is developed and maintained by the UH-netlab staff. The system provides reservations through the GENI AM API v2 and v3 specifications with operational deployments worldwide.

geni-lib is a Python library for interacting with the NSF GENI Federation, or any federation that uses components of the GENI Software Architecture. Common uses include orchestrating repeatable experiments and writing small tools for inspecting the resources available in a given federation. There are also a number of administrative API handlers available for interacting with software commonly used in experiments - particularly those exposing services to other experimenters.

VTS is a topology builder resource manager software.
